giving up alcohol was the most freeing thing i ever did, opening a new door to live my life with a courageous, open heart ~ of course that means i can no longer not feel my pain, but that choice created the space to welcome and receive JOY ✨✨ thank you for sharing your journey 💛💛

Sarah, this is so beautifully said—what a powerful reflection. Giving up alcohol really is such a radical act of courage, and I love how you framed it: choosing to feel it all, even the pain, so you can fully receive the joy. That kind of open-hearted living is what I am aspiring towards - it is not always easy! Thank you for sharing your journey too, it's inspiring and resonates. I am grateful for you. xo

Hi Dina, Thank you for sharing this. I have not drank since August. I have also gave up alcohol. Thank you for all these reminders of freedom and clarity and confidence and a greater life that exists ! I just got back from Maui and didn’t drink! There is lots of freedom and time and good health in not drinking! Thanks again and hopefully I’ll make it to one of your writing classes at some point soon!

Hi Elease, It is so good to hear from you. Wow—congratulations on not drinking since August, that’s such a powerful commitment! I love hearing how your journey has opened up more freedom and health. And Maui without alcohol? That’s a beautiful win—so much more presence to soak in all the magic. Thank you for sharing your experience; it's inspiring and such a great reminder that we can live fully and joyfully without the old habits. That we are not in this alone. I’d absolutely love to have you in one of the writing classes whenever the time feels right—you're always welcome. Keep shining! 💛
